Vanavond ben ik dan toch op de laatste knip vertrokken naar een benefietavond. Hoe ik er toe kwam om man en kind achter te laten ?? Dochterlief die na een hele dag diep slapen beneden kwam, vleide zich in de zetel bij papa. “Vanavond kies ik het programma mam, want zus is er toch niet en ik ben ziek” klonk het. Er werd een vergadering voor topoverleg belegd met schattebout, waar ik nu niet meteen bij werd uitgenodigd. Hun keuzes lieten mijn hart zeker niet sneller kloppen … integendeel … bwaaakes niet mijn ding. Ergens diep in mijn hersenen was het al de hele dag aan het broeden maar mijn ontsnappingsplan nam pas reële vorm aan tussen de badbubbels. En als ik nu dat steenrode hemdje aandoe met die grijze rok ? Oei dat staat wat winters. Zou ik dieper in de kast durven zoeken … had ik nog die witte jeans en een ander hemd want die rode spant nog rond mijn boezem. Neen die witte jeans daar kan ik absoluut nog niet in. Toch eens proberen ? Hmmm ik kreeg het gevoel meteen een verjongingskuur te ondergaan die jeans zit als gegoten. Zou wat wetgel in mijn haren beter staan ? Daar moet een beetje maquillage bij ! Tussen mijn spullen liggen deze van mijn zieke knuffel. Waag ik het er op of waag ik het er op en gebruik ik stiekem haar kleurtjes in plaats van de mijn saaie ? Nog een flitse zonnebril en er waait zowaar een complimentje uit de hoek van die 2 samenzweerders. Rap en zoen en er vandoor voor iemand vindt dat het niet staat als een huismoeke er alleen op uit trekt.
Genoten heb ik. Lekker met vrienden en vriendinnen luisteren naar een vlaag heel goede jazzmuziek gezongen door D. Bedankt D voor de avond, bedankt vrienden en vriendinnen en heel stilletjes fluister ik ook bedankt dieet … ik voel me eindelijk weer een beetje mens tussen de mensen. Hier gaat er eentje heel voldaan slapen.
